From the moment we're born, our mind is sucking up information, storing it away and using it to create an internal map
of who you are and what your relationship is to the rest of the world. This internal map of reality is what creates the internal
experiences you have and the external results you get in life. A lot of these things happen unconsiously outside of our awareness.
this means that our minds create results that we don't want, without our being able to see how they are generated, the… Continue

When you make assumptions and think you know what people are saying, in effect you stop listening.
When you stop listening, you create resistance and people go away. This can be frustrating for you and the
prospect, a conversation that could take 10 minutes can turn into an hour long event. The real flaw here is that
a lot of people have terrible listening skills. Sometimes we hear only what we want to hear and when that happens the conversation
drifts into the oppisite direction of why you c… Continue

I don't propose to speak for you but in these hard economic times I have to make absolutely positive where each and every dollar is going and why its going there.
I not only trimmed the fat from my marketing campaign, I also trimmed the fat from my personal budget. There was a time that my marketing campaign was so messed up that I had to
go to my bank and change my card number because money was coming out of my account that I couldn't track down. I was a newbie and was all over the place and… Continue

in your network marketing campaign. I normally preach about how you need to use OFFLINE as well as online techniques the importance of
marketing online can't be ignored. At some point you'll have to step away from the computer and get involved in person to person contact
but this blog is concentrated on your online campaign. The net can give you great opportunities and yo… Continue

E-Mail is the new junk mail. I use it. To a moderate degree but not like I use to. I’m pushing more and more of my marketing back to one-on-one emailing and targeted direct mail projects.
So what has happened? E-mail is so fast, so cheap, so everywhere. Every inbox is filled with spam and everyone has signed or found themselves on who knows how many lists.
We are all so overwhelmed by it all and routinely just switch once e-newsletters that were once important to the junk file. So why not do w… Continue

How can you start to unleash the power of your web site?
Now, as if you did not need to before, you really need to be creative with every dollar you spend and with every minute you spend on your marketing. So here are 3 simple things you need to be doing.
1st. make it easy to help your customers find exactly what they want on the first click, if possible! This often means directing them to a landing page rather than your front or home page but it is worth the effort.
2nd.… Continue

E-Mail markets are always well served by remembering the basics. When you forget the basic rules of email marketing you get in trouble big time.
First, focus on the call to action. If you first identify your goal for the e-mail then determine what you want to subscribers to do and carry this though from the subject line to the e-mail design to the landing page, you’re in good shape. Keep the call to action simple, prominent and neat the top of your message.
Second, craft yo… Continue

I see it everyday, people jumping ship thinking they can solve the problem by joining another company, trust me, you're
not going to find it. People who jump ship don't make it. They THINK the answer is in another product, another team, another comp. plan.
The answer lies within YOU. Take a look around, if people are making money in your company and you're not, the answer is YOU. It isn't te comp.

As SM progresses as a major component of a company’s marketing efforts we are all in some way, either large or small imprisoned by our minds. Now is the time where we need to accpet that the entire web is a social media experience and by not embracing it you are handing the new openness of increased loyalty, better cost controls, and driving customer acquisition to a select few. Those few who overcome the pressing challenges that confront us from cost containment to the actual delivery of goods… Continue

There is symmetry in using both online and off line marketing to push your business. Not everyone is going to do a search to look for what you do or sell. Off line marketing might trigger a need that a person did not know they had.
Where is that balance?
For some it is telemarketing, others postcard mailers or wave mailings, still others catalogs.
Don’t stop your SE program. Don’t end a successful pay for click campaign. Build it up with a foundation of other marketing tools.
You need to loo… Continue

While oversized postcard mailings can be very effective, see yesterday’s blog, they are perhaps not that much more effective than any other Kind of mailing piece. There are other choices in your mailing arsenal. Due to their size, oversized mailers tend to stand out, but if the message is well-defined and creative graphic are used, that is what really ensures the success of any mailer, large size postcards or small.
Sometimes we get preoccupied with the size of a mailing, forgetting what can he… Continue

Oversized postcards can be effective in business-to-consumer, business-to-business and nonprofit marketing. They never replace envelope mailings in many markets, but oversized postcards do have several advantages over smaller postcards and envelope packages in many instances.
Oversized postcards will stand out more on the desk or kitchen table. And we all will agree that you can't get a response if the piece doesn't get read and it won't get read unless it gets noticed. Size does matter.… Continue
