Share 'Chicken Out.'

I found this photo that was taken last Thanksgiving in Bakersfield CA, outside the house of my guy's mom.. The chicken seems to live in a tree in the street and has the run of the neighbourhood. I looked at this photo and noted how confident it looked as it strode out to whatever took its eye. It obviously has a purpose, and the fact that it is out in the wide world, with who-knows-what perils...
