Hi everyone - I've just joined TeamCircle today - thank you Lindy. My name is Debbie and my business is Deb-e-Secretarial which is a virtual assistance business run from my home near Camden in Sydney. I have 2 young kiddies that I work around (and a hubby of course) and love the flexibility of being able to be here for the kids when they are sick or on school holidays (now - arghhhhhhh).

My VA business is a Multi-VA business meaning I have a team of girls who I subcontract work to from time to time. I have ladies who are more skilled and qualified than me in areas like copywriting, logo design, websites etc, bookkeeping, medical transcription etc.

My area of experience and passion is in Personal Assistance - I love helping my clients run their businesses on a day to day basis like a normal tradiitional PA would in the corporate world.

I look forward to getting to know everyone better and will now check out the other areas on the site.

Thanks and kind regards

Debs

I'm in discussion with the economic development officer from Pt Stephens about that very thing. A contact in Lake Macquarie would be good.

maybe we need to goto local chambers of commerce provoke from the inside I think that's possible.

Excellent idea Jim. I know we' ve been puzzling over the 'how to get small business online in an economical and safe way' at the Tweetups. A lot of the Big Guys think they have to go to Sydney to learn about social media too. That must mean we aren't getting out there and letting them know we have people locally who can help - and keep the Wolves out. ;-)
