Some great shots here of times gone by. The Good Old Days?

What do you remember of these pictures?

Take a look

PS. Looking at houses for sale in Ventura CA, I recognise some of that 1960's kitchen!

Yes! I've commented to a friend in the past, to see what a regular person body-shape looks like now, one needs to look at a movie that is 50 years old, or older.

The changes that have happened in the interval between now and then, are not all good ones.

Looking at movies now, offers a body-shape that is just as distorted an image, but in the other direction, than the body-shapes you'd see at the local mall are so different from those of 50 years ago.

It's like being with Ozzie & Harriet , Perfect everything. Cake looks good. My waist line is that small but I only weigh 98 pounds in a wet bag. Ha,Ha,. Wow those hair dryers back then . I remember those drive-in speakers . My dad would pack the whole neighborhood of kids in the car on $1.00 night. We brought lawn chairs and homemade popcorn . Most of us sat on the roof of his car. Fun times back then. Thanks Lindy that was fun looking back.

So many memories. The flexible flier sled, green & gold kitchens, PF Fliers, drive-in movies. And my all time fav - Marshmallow Fluff. Yes I still eat it!!!

Thanks for posting this, Lindy. Nice to remember just how simple life used to be...

Oh, okay, now yer gonna hafta tell me.. what's marshmallow fluff?

You really need to move to the states!! It's marshmallow that's in a spreadable form. If you've never had a peanut butter & fluff sandwich, you're missing out!!

Oh jeez - that's worse that jam with peanut butter - er that's 'jelly' to you! (our Jelly is your Jello)

I actually prefer jam, spreads on the bread easier. Now, jello & peanut butter? Never had that, that I can remember LOL I actually miss it, pb & fluff, that is. I have a peanut allergy so have to have soy butter instead...just not the same.
